How to deal with long moss in fish tank

If aquariums are relatively keeping ornamental fish for a long time, or if they are soaked in water for a long time, it will grow brown things on the tank wall, or moss on the tank wall. So are these things good or bad?

First of all, this article is not about how to deal with these things, but to tell everyone how to cultivate these things and something about aquarium moss care.
When you see here, you will think, then these things should be pretty good? Otherwise, you will not think of cultivating them.

If a fish tank grows moss or these brown algae, it actually means that the water quality of our fish tank is still good. These algae can actually help us to purify the water quality in the fish tank, especially to deal with some of the ammonia nitrogen and nitrite that are toxic to ornamental fish.
You can pay more attention to observe that if there is more moss in the general fish tank, then this fish tank must be placed in a place with sufficient light. And if there is not enough light in a place, there will be less moss in this fish tank, on the contrary, it will grow more brown algae.

Compared with algae, the moss is naturally better. Therefore, if more moss can be cultivated in a fish tank and moss and algae compete for nutrients, the natural amount of these algae is relatively small.
Where there is plenty of light, there is much moss, and where there is not enough light, there are more algae.  Therefore, we can draw a more effective method, that is, place the fish tank in a place with sufficient light, especially in a place with sufficient sunlight, it will grow moss faster.

If the fish tank is placed in a place with light, but the light is not so sufficient, then the fish tank will grow more brown algae. The question is, how to measure the adequacy of light? Here, I will give you a standard, that is, you can observe the time of sunshine. If an average aquarium can fully receive at least 3 hours of sunlight a day, it means that the sunshine is adequate. If a fish tank can receive enough light for a day, it can go up to 5 hours, then the moss in the fish tank will grow.

So the first way to cultivate moss in a fish tank is to expose the fish tank to full sunlight. If the fish tank can get light, but the light is not enough, that is, the light can not reach 3 hours, then the fish tank will probably grow brown algae, and the effect will be worse than the moss.

If there is no light, you can use this prop. In addition, if the environmental conditions in which we raise this fish tank are not so good, the fish tank cannot receive sufficient sunlight. There is another way, that is, you can use something called Meng Chong Lamp. Many fish friends say that this lamp is good, so if you are interested, you can try it.

This is about how to cultivate moss or algae in the fish tank. If you see some fishermen here, you don’t know the specific benefits of moss and algae in the fish tank. Finally, we can briefly review it for everyone: In fact, if moss grows in an area, it means that the water quality in this area is relatively good. Therefore, we can also use whether the fish tank can grow moss as a standard to determine whether the water quality of a fish tank is good.
